  • Software Development

    Throughout the duration of your trip, you will participate in hackathons, as well as other software projects and competitions, designed to challenge you, improve your programming skills and global perception of software projects. 

  • Team Building Activities

    Technology doesn’t happen in a bubble, and part of becoming a better programmer is learning to work together as a team. As such, a wide variety of team building activities have been incorporated as an integral part of the Tech Challenge Experience, to strengthen your bonds with your trip-mates and teach you skills for being a better team player.

  • Exposure to Experts

    As a Tech Challenge Experience participant, you will have the unique opportunity to meet with and learn first-hand from leading Israeli tech industry players and academics, combining inspiration and networking with actual hands-on cooperation on research and development projects.

  • Hi-tech Society

    Besides the opportunity to meet local experts, you will also visit sites of multi-national companies and Israeli startups, where you will get the chance to talk with top Israeli entrepreneurs & CTOs, and meet with hi-tech’s best!

    Each Tech Challenge Experience trip offers you day-to-day interactions with Israeli peers, visits to historical sites and modern day institutes, and informative discussions to enrich your knowledge and your connection with the State of Israel.

  • Tech Challenge Interns

    10 weeks

    Paid internship

    For talented programmers

    Tech Challenge Interns is the perfect option for talented computer science students or fresh graduates who are looking for a top paid summer internship in Tel Aviv. The program allows you to be a part of Israel’s dynamic tech community and grow through a professional experience.

    The next Tech Challenge Interns cohort will be held June 11 - August 17, 2017. Applications are closed for cohort '17. 

  • Software Development Internships

    Through an internship in leading hi-tech firms & startups, you will have a chance to experience actual software development- adding your knowledge, skills and creativity to generating the technological solutions for tomorrow. You will work side by side Israeli developers and receive mentoring from leading figures in the Israeli tech community. The internships are paid, expect around 5,000-6,000 Nis per month.

  • Exposure to Israeli Hi-Tech

    Through hands-on seminars, networking, site visits and your internship placement, Tech Challenge Interns gives you exposure to the cutting-edge world of Israeli technological innovation.

  • Immersion in Israeli Life

    In Tech Challenge Interns, you have an unparalleled opportunity to directly taste the fast rhythm and pace of contemporary Israeli society. Like your Israeli peers, you will balance work and pleasure-carving out your own mini-corner of the Israeli urban landscape. Tech Challenge Interns is in cooperation with Onward Israel programs. Onward brings Jewish students to Israel from around the world and puts a premium on encounters with Israelis as well. You can meet them at the Onward Israel weekend retreat, as your neighbors, during structured meetings with Israeli peers, and through Onward Israel's menu of optional educational and cultural activities.

    Regular decision deadline: by January 25

    The Admissions Committee meets weekly and admits qualified candidates on a rolling, space-available basis.

  • Tuition

    The program is heavily subsidized and the tuition fee is 1,000$ which covers accommodation in Tel Aviv, medical insurance and educational components of the program. Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights.

  • Tech Challenge Fellows

    10 months

    Cyber Security and Data Science

    For CS Grads and Engineers 

    The Tech Challenge Fellows, offers talented young professionals a unique, heavily subsidized 10-month opportunity designed to give participants an international, Silicon Wadi edge.

    Applications are now being accepted for October 2017 cohort.

    The upcoming cohort starts October 17th, 2017 and ends August, 30th, 2018.

  • Elite Participation

    For our elite Fellowship, we accept only the exceptional. Talented young adults with impressive backgrounds and great potential in the hi-tech fields will be hand-chosen to participate after a rigorous selection process. 
    Minimum requirements: Bsc in Computer Science or engineering, Experience in software development during work/internships/free lancer projects, fluent english. 

  • Intensive Tech Training

    During the first 5 months of the program a high level tech training will be provided by our extremely talented staff (all ex-IDF hackers) and leading hi-tech companies (CheckPoint, PayPal, Ebay, RSA, Intel, Wix, IBM and more) in two main fields: Cyber Security and Data Science

  • Meaningful Internships

    After completing our elite training program, you'll put your skills in action, interning in Israel’s leading hi-tech companies. During this five-month paid internship, participants will benefit from high-level mentoring, and hand-in-hand guidance for those looking to pursue a hi-tech career in Israel or just have a great international experience.

  • Exclusive Exposure

    Enjoy first-hand exposure to the unique elements that make Israel the hub of innovation that it is – entrepreneurship, excellence, daring vision and teamwork. Through meetings with entrepreneurs, relevant organizations in hi-tech, academia and the defense community, you’ll gain exposure to a broad array of Israel’s most cutting-edge technologies.

  • Integration

    Our Tech Challenge Fellows program is in cooperation with Masa Israel Journey. Masa’s authentic Israel experiences, empower participants to develop as individuals and leaders while developing a robust global professional (and social) network that includes Israelis and students from around the world. Through the Tech Challenge Fellows program, you’ll enjoy immersion in Israeli society and Tel Aviv cultural life,  trips throughout the country, and volunteer programs.

  • Tuition, Stipend & Salary

    Masa may subsidize $4,500 or more of the tuition fee, according to Masa grants regulations. Additional needs-based scholarships are available through Masa, please check with their representatives. Masa grants are offered in 2017 on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost before Masa grant is $10,500. 
    The tuition fee covers medical insurance, educational components of the program and a monthly bus pass. Participants receive from ITC a monthly stipend of 3,500 Nis during the training period. During the following 5-months, Fellows receive salaries from their place of work.

    Training for beginner coders

    For results-driven quick learners

    Become a beginner coder in just 3 weeks: Whether you are a recent law graduate, an MBA student or a tech-savvy graphic designer, in today's new world order, advancing your career starts with basic coding skills. Tech Challenge Summer Break invites exceptional, motivated and innovative individuals between the ages of 18 and 30, from around the world. 

  • Intense Basic Training

    Surf away from this coming summer as a beginning coder! Get the basics down, learn all the skills, and gain the tools you need to take your first steps as a developer. Master CSS, HTML and JavaScript and build your first web application in just 3-weeks.

  • Smart Summer

    This program does it all, letting you enjoy the scenes and sites of Israeli summer life and culture while immersing yourself in the tech hub of Tel Aviv and jump-starting your new skill set in tech. Tech Challenge Summer Break also serves as a preparatory course for deeper coding learning in the future– for example, in our intensive, 5-month, CTO Coding Boot Camp. 

  • Israel Tech Experience

    As a Tech Challenge Summer Break participant, you have the unique opportunity to gain exposure to Israel’s tech ecosystem, visiting local sites of multinational companies and Israeli startups, while developing strong friendships with fellow program participants.

  • Tuition & General Information

    Tech Challenge Summer Break costs $2,000 USD. This fee covers medical insurance and the educational and social activities in the program.

    Hacking your future means learning the ins and outs of cyber security from leading experts in the Israeli tech industry while living in Tel Aviv, the city that never sleeps.  Dive deep into the challenging and enigmatic world of Internet technologies and gain real experience, and exposure to leading tech companies in Israel. 

  • Meet Israeli Hi-Tech

    A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy a slice of Israeli life while studying tech–with hands-on workshops, site visits, and days dedicated to traveling around Israel. Between the sites and the nightlife, immerse yourself in Israeli culture, living in an apartment and studying on a campus located in the heart of the Tel Aviv tech hub.

  • Tuition & General Information

    Tech Challenge Cyber Break is heavily subsidized by Onward Israel, and the cost per participant is $4,500 USD including accommodations, medical coverage, and educational and social activities. If you choose not to stay at the ITC housing the cost of the program is 2,900 USD. Participants are responsible for their own flights.

  • Coding Bootcamp

    5 months

    Intensive programming training

    Tech savvy-motivated individuals

    The 5-month Coding Boot Camp is an intensive high-level full-stack web development training. From Java to JS and python, get hands-on experience through a two-month internship, with a portfolio to kick off your new career. The course is also suitable for young professionals without previous coding experience.

    Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2017.

    Fall cohort starts October 17th, 2017 - March 18, 2018.
    Early admissions are accepted until July 1st. Remaining vacant seats are offered until August 15.
    2018 Summer cohort will start June 3, 2018 - November 1, 2018

  • Training & Internship

    In the first three months of the program, students acquire the know-how and tools to take their first steps as full-stack developers including:  CSS/HTML, Javascript, Python, data bases, UI/UX.  In the last two months of the program, you will complete an unpaid internship at an Israeli start-up, working on a project and expanding a portfolio to kick off your new career.

  • Immersive Israel Experience

    Tours and trips of Israel, will help you learn about the different parts and cultures of the land. Hebrew Ulpan will get your language skills going.

  • Join our vibrant community

    The CTO Coding Boot Camp is offered in cooperation with Masa Israel Journey that offers 2-12-month study and career development programs with a particular emphasis on excellence and leadership for qualifying participants. Masa’s immersive Israel experiences empower participants to develop as individuals and develop a global professional network. ITC keeps close touch with our program alumni, and our campus is buzzing with activity of our different, simultaneous programs - a great opportunity to meet new people!

  • Admissions and Tuition

    Admissions are ongoing based on vacant seats in the program. 

    First priority admissions received by July 1st. 

    Tuition fully covers medical insurance, all activities, and training. Housing is not included. 

    Full cost without Masa grant is $14,500. Masa may subsidize $3,000 or more of the tuition fee, depending on your country of origin and according to Masa grants regulations. Additional needs-based scholarships are available through Masa, please check with their representative relevant to your country. Masa grants are offered in 2017 on a first-come, first-served basis.
